What was your first day on a board like?

I was in 6th grade and there was a hill right outside my school and so many people would shred there I borrowed someone's board claiming I could shred hah and strapped in and went straight until I hit a fence. I remember how stoked I was though I bought a black snow from Fred Meyers and rode that on the hill for a bit, Later that year I went to anchorage and picked up a morrow from Boarderline.

Perfect AK shred day?

That, of course, would be a few runs on some steeps with blower pow, hitting some wind lips and pillow poppers stomping everything I tried! But, yea, realistically just being out there with the crew and shredding the goods is perfect.

All time favorite video part?

Anything from Kazu, Manual Diaz, Gigi and Landvik gets me hyped.

Biggest pet peeve in snowboarding?

RIGHT NOW I'M DIGGING EVERYTHING ABOUT SNOWBOARDING. IT'S SUCH A BIG PART OF MY LIFE AND I'VE EMBRACED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT, EVEN ALL THE KOOKS. WITHOUT THE KOOKS, THERE WOULD BE NOTHING TO LAUGH AT, HAH.

What’s great about snowboarding right now?

I think it's great that snowboarding is alive and well. It could have just been thrown out the window like roller blading. More kids are getting into it and finding out that, yea, snowboarding is tight.

Who do you think is the best rider in snowboarding, past or present?

Terje past, T.rice present.

What are your goals for this season?

I had shoulder surgery 9 weeks ago. my goal is to be riding by January. I'm moving to Bellingham for a few months to ride Baker and then coming back to AK for spring. I just want to ride as much as I can.
